Postgraduate taught one-year Masters applicants
The St Leonard’s Masters Scholarship is open to national and international applicants for eligible postgraduate (taught) Masters degree programmes and based on academic excellence and/or financial need.
The value of award may vary depending on your chosen programme and your assessed fee status, but could include a reduction in tuition fees, maintenance contribution, employability allowance, reserved University accommodation (not funded).
The scheme aims to allow applicants to draw on their professional and life experiences to demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness, and commitment. Applicants are asked to explicitly articulate their potential using both academic and professional or life experiences.
We welcome applications from talented student athletes from around the world who can add value to our programmes whilst representing St Andrews in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) championship.
The selection panel will be looking for applicants to demonstrate non-academic excellence and/or leadership qualities in their chosen sport as well as in formally assessed academic work (University transcripts).
We currently have performance programmes in basketball, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, netball, rowing, rugby union and tennis. We would also consider supporting exceptional individuals competing at an elite level in other sports (usually internationally depending on the sport and nationality).
Sport leadership applicants must provide a sport CV and video or video link before the deadline. Please email [email protected]. Sport leadership applicants should be competing at a very high level within their sport.
