Booking
Saints Sport members can book all fitness classes ONLINE, 7 days in advance.
Bookings can also be made in person at reception, by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 01334 462190.
Alternatively, members and non-members can claim their space on the day at reception up to 30 minutes before the beginning of the class, availability depending.
Arrival & Tickets
Please collect your ticket from our reception team or from our self-scanners when entering Saints Sport. Have this ready to take to the class you are attending. This will be collected by your instructor. Please also let the instructor know if you have any injuries or health conditions that they need to be aware of, before the class starts.
Please be sure to arrive on time for your exercise class, there is a waiting area and accessible toilet outside the studio.
Late arrivals will not be tolerated. If the class has started and the instructor deems that you are late, they will ask you to leave.
PAR-Q and informed consent
It is the responsibility of every individual attending a fitness class to ensure that they have read and answered the physical activity readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q) and informed consent as outlined in the Saints Sport Terms and Conditions prior to using any of the facilities and services at University Park, and this should be repeated if a medical condition should arise or if an existing medical condition changes in any manner.
Class descriptions
Modifications for all fitness levels will be provided by all instructors, however, please read the descriptions below before booking to ensure you pick a suitable class.
Please approach the instructor prior to the class, if you have any specific requirements that they can help with.
Our classes all have music – if you have an auditory specific requirement, please make your instructor aware prior to the class starting.
At times class instructors may vary to reflect the needs of the department.

Saints Fitness Instructors
Ailsa
Ailsa leads several of the classes on the timetable including; Vinyasa flow yoga, group cycle and not forgetting her best known Zumba classes. You will also catch her Personal Training in our main gym.
Ross
Ross will put you through your paces at several of the classes on the timetable including; group cycle, box fit and ramped. Ross also leads Stretch-fit and personal training.
Ali
Ali leads our strength classes, alongside being our in-house Sport Therapist.
Yasmin
Catch Yasmin on Tuesdays and Saturdays for a fun Group cycle workout party. You will also spot her manning the gym floor too.
Alice
Alice is best known for her Ashtanga Yoga practice but is also a trained Sport Therapist, Barre instructor and practices Hatha and Flow Yoga.
Emma
Filling fast every week is Emma’s Tuesday morning Pilates class. Also, reformer trained she teaches at home with 1-1 sessions.
Jenny
Jenny leads on one of our popular Zumba classes and is also studying dance at college.
Laura
Laura is trained in many of our classes including; Yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, and Total conditioning.
Madira
Bringing 20 years’ experience, we are lucky to have Madira’s expertise at our Friday and Wednesday Yoga and Pilates classes.
Stacey
Stacey is best known for her Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice but is also trained in Yin Yoga.
Stacie
Stacie is one of our cover instructors specialising in Pilates and Group cycle.
Vikki
Vikki is one of our cover instructors, she instructs an array of exercise classes including Group Cycle, Body sculpt, Ramped and Hiit.
Daisy
Daisy is one of our cover instructors specialising in resistance based classes and Group cycle.
Michal
Michal is one of our cover instructors specialising in strength training and Olympic lifts.
