The new calisthenics multi-station gym allows users to complete rhythmic body weight exercises consisting of a variety of movements such as sit ups, dip bars and hanging bars. Using the multi-station gym can benefit both muscular and cardiovascular fitness, in addition to improving skills such as balance, agility and coordination.
No matter your age, our outdoor gym is a fantastic way to have fun whilst exercising and the range of equipment will allow users to explore different movements and exercises. Regular exercise is beneficial to physical and mental wellbeing, exercising outdoors has proven to give the feeling of extra revitalisation and energy.
Static fitness zone
The following exercises are examples of what could be completed in the static fitness zone:
- Includes hanging bars, low parallel bars, high wide bar, high narrow bar & leg raiser
- Potential exercises include calisthenics pull-ups, chin-ups, hanging leg-raises or leg tucks, dips & static holds
- Exercise bands can be used around the equipment for pull ups, arm and leg exercises
Exercises which can be completed on the plyometric boxes include box jumps, step-ups, split squats and elevated push ups.
Sit up bench
This bench will predominantly be used for sit ups however training bands could be used for mobility or chest exercises.
The vault bar can be used for alternating side jumps as well as mobility or pull up exercises with exercise bands.
