Holiday sports camps

Multisport camps offer children in pre-school (from age 3) – P7 the opportunity to play a wide variety of sports, games and activities throughout the week. Children will learn new skills, make new friends, and most importantly they will have lots and lots of fun!

In order to ensure each child has the best possible experience, we group children based on age and ability with fun at the heart of everything we do.

Coaching

Our multisports camps are led by Children’s Services Coordinator Lui Watters, who has completed a BSc (Honours) in Sports Development and Coaching, and holds a number of governing body coaching qualifications.

Lui is supported by our Sports Coach Matthew Porteus and a team of experienced and qualified coaches who provide a safe and friendly environment for all children.

Our new football camp offers children the opportunity of playing and learning the game whilst at the same time enhancing their skills in a number of different areas.

Over the course of the camp players will enhance their passing, dribbling, control and finishing skills whilst also taking part in lots of small sided games. Participants will make new friends and most importantly of all, will have lots of fun.

Coaching

Our football camps are lead by the Junior Saints head coach Matthew Porteus. Matty one of our most experiences coaches on the Junior Saints Programme and is a UEFA B License Candidate.

Junior Saints Hockey Camps offer a week of coaching for players aged 6-15, focusing on developing solid core skills and improving fundamental movement. We welcome players from across NE Fife or further afield, and cater for those new to the game as well experienced hockey players.

Coaching

The Hockey Camps programme is overseen by our Junior Saints team in partnership with Jamie Carnegie, the University’s Director of Hockey.

Jamie is a UKCC Level 3 Hockey Coach and has worked with Scottish Hockey and their performance programme and has helped develop several players in the Midland area to play for Scotland U16, U18, U21 and the GB U21 Programme.

Jamie is supported during the sessions by a team of qualified student coaches.

Jake Lovatt, our Climbing Wall Officer, brings years of experience and a proven track record as a leading climbing instructor across various age groups and environments. With a passion for inspiring young climbers, Jake ensures that each participant not only learns the fundamentals of climbing but also discovers the joy of overcoming challenges.
