Happy Retirement Ian!
We’re sad to announce the retirement of our long-time Women’s Head Coach, Ian MacCallum, following the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Ian has been with Saints Water Polo for fourteen years, serving as our both Director of Water Polo and Head Coach for both men and women’s teams during his long tenure with the club. As many of you know, Ian has been the heart and soul of this club during his time with us. He’s been instrumental in our Women’s team’s performance in recent years, including coaching the team to consecutive National Championship wins in 2019 and 2022. It’s difficult to imagine water polo at St Andrews without Ian and his love of Coldplay and karaoke, and we are immensely sad to see him go! 
We would like to thank Ian for his countless hours of work, dedication, and support for water polo at St Andrews. The club would not have reached such a high level of performance without his coaching and endless enthusiasm to see the club succeed.
In the future, we will always prioritise #fun #hardwork #respect. We wish him the best of luck in future endeavors! Enjoy retirement Ian!!
