Saints Womens water polo traveled to Newcastle as they close in on the British Universities Premier League title.

Saints made a trademark fast start with Sarah Kreiser scoring within the first minute as Saints raced out to a substantial 9-1 lead at the end of the first period. The scoring continued in the second with Caitlin Donnelly finding the back of the net on her way to a season high seven goals as the score was 14-3 at the half.

Saints were in cruise control now and the second half match the first with Saints scoring another 14 to close out the match 28-5.

Wins in the three remaining games will see Saints retain the Premier League title on the current form that looks a distinct possibility.

Saints were: Bailey Meyer, Sarah Kreiser, Bekah Kaufman, Kate Mackie, Ruby Versfeld, Caitlin Donnelly, Meg Hedrick and Lauren Charter
