Customer Portal – Leisure Hub

We are very pleased to announce that we will shortly be launching a new online customer portal.

Leisure Hub

Leisure Hub is a user-friendly platform that will enable our members to manage their profile from a central location, book sessions and activities, sign up for memberships, review past and present bookings and memberships, and much more with ease.

Course Hub

We will also be launching a new course management product – Course Hub – that seamlessly integrates with the Leisure Hub customer portal, allowing users to book onto courses including Junior Saints weekly classes and holiday camps, group lessons, and sports leagues.

How to access the customer portal

The new customer portal will be accessible from the main navigation bar on the Saints Sport website.

How to register for an online account

All members will need to register for a new Leisure Hub account to access the customer portal – even if you had a previous Horizons account.

From the login page, non-registered users have three register options:

  • I’m a Student/Staff member…and I would like to sign up – This option is for all University of St Andrews students and staff to register for an online Leisure Hub account, with or without an existing Saints Sport membership.
  • I’m a member… but I need to create an online account – This option is for members of the Community with an existing live Saints Sport membership, but who do not have a Leisure Hub account. This will link their new online Leisure Hub account to their membership record.
  • I’m new… and would like to sign up – This option is for members of the Community who are non-members and new to Saints Sport. This option will create a new record for the person when they activate their Leisure Hub account and initially assign them with a free Sports Centre user membership.

Activation email

An activation email will be sent to the email address entered when registering. Please note that you will need to click the activation link within this email within 48 hours in order to activate your Leisure Hub account.

Logging in

When a member has completed the registration process, they are able to login to Leisure Hub. If required a member can decide to switch on Two Factor Authentication for additional security when logging in. Two Factor Authentication can be switched on from the member’s My Details page.

Online Booking

This section of the portal allows customers to browse and add items (Fitness Classes, Open Climbing, Sports Facilities) to their basket.

The number of spaces displayed on the Activity Tile are the remaining spaces available for a Class. For Booking Activities this is the remaining number of times the activity can be booked at this time today:

Selecting the information icon on an activity tile will reveal the activity description:

Filters

Multiple features are available to help a user refine their search to help choose the right booking, including filters, calendar date selector, spaces available, activity search bar, day selector:

Please note: you need to ensure the relevant tab for your activity is highlighted in blue, any of the tabs highlighted in grey will not show availability:

Members can use saved filters to save a set of filters that they commonly use to find an activity. To save a set of filters, select the filters that are to be saved, click save my filter, enter a filter name and click Save.

Notify me

When the activity is fully booked it will remain on the available bookings page with the option for users to select to be notified via email if a space becomes available for this activity.

If a place becomes available for the activity, an automated email will be sent to all users who are part of the notify me list. The email contains a hyperlink for users to remove themselves from the notify me list. If a person books onto the activity, they will be taken off of the notify me list.

Quick Booking

The Quick Book button will become available if the activity is free for the member and the member does not already have items in their basket. Using the Quick Book button will allow a person to book a zero-cost activity without having to go through the checkout process.

Purchasing a membership

From the home page select Membership Prices.

From the membership selection page, users can browse and add memberships to their basket.

Any free memberships that the person already has will not be displayed.

The top of the membership selection page will display available membership filters as well as dropdowns to change the order in which memberships are displayed. Scroll down the page to view the different membership options.

Only those membership types applicable to the user profile logged in will be displayed, based on student, staff, community, and age profiles.

Click on the ‘More Information’ button to see eligibility criteria and membership benefits for each membership type:

When Buy Now is selected on a membership tile the membership will be added to the basket, additional memberships can be added to the basket before checking out.

To begin checkout, hover over the Basket summary and select Checkout.

Please note that some memberships require proof of entitlement before they can be made active, for example Community Concession, Junior Saints Staff Child.

Junior Saints Memberships for Children

All current Junior Saints memberships will expire on 7th August and a new sign-up process will be implemented to coincide with Course Hub going live.

All parents will need a Leisure Hub account to book children onto courses via Course Hub.

Child members can then be linked to the Primary Payer / Parent, providing the parent visibility to their child’s profile, activities and access to enrol their children to other courses online.

Further details on how to register an account, link child members, buy memberships for linked members and book courses will be added here soon.
