Laptops land in Zambia

This Summer, the University of St Andrews and recycled IT donated recycled laptops and iPhone to Sport in Action to develop its administration and programme delivery in Zambia. The previous article can be seen here.

As the laptops arrived, staff got dug into their new gadgets to allow coordinators to take photos of the sites which can be shared with Sport In Action HQ. The laptops helps everyone to stay connected, especially as the project is growing out of Lusaka. Sport in Action is a non-governmental organisation whose purpose is to improve people’s quality of life through sport and recreational activities.

Monica from Sport In Action has said “he laptops has made it easier for us to compile data and making financial requests. Provides opportunity to work at placements, on the road and also at home which saves us money on transport.”
