Saints Water Polo Qualify to compete in British National League
St Andrews Women’s Water Polo team travelled to Liverpool this past weekend to compete in the seven team qualification tournament to gain the three entry places on offer to join the British National League Division 3.
Saints competed in a total of six games over two days against Durham, Liverpool, Solihull, Sunderland, Manchester and Kirkintilloch, winning all six matches to take first place and a coveted spot in the BWPL.
During Semester 1, Saints will travel to Sheffield, Northampton and return to Liverpool as they aim to build on this solid start to the season.
Saints were: Katie Campbell, Bekah Kaufman (Capt) , Caitlin Donnelly, Kate Mackie, Caitlin Boyne, Lauren Charter, Carla Carrega, Brynn Walsh, Amelia Downs, Maya Weerasinghe and Mikaere Todd.
