- Why St Andrews?
- After completing all my NCAA eligibility in the States, I realized I wanted to do one more year of school and one more year of basketball abroad. I could never partake in any of my previous university’s exchange programs. But, when Coach Callum contacted me, I realized that the University of St Andrews was the perfect opportunity to pursue my wishes. Aside from that, St Andrews’ history, location, beautiful scenery, and town drew me in even more, and I knew I had to attend.

- Why St Andrews?
- After graduating from Holy Cross I wanted to continue to pursue my passion for learning. However, learning for me has become something beyond the classroom. I saw St Andrews as a place that knocks down the walls of classroom and fosters the “student of life” mentality. Fortunately, St Andrews was a place that I found through Hockey. One of my favourite things about sport is the connections it breeds and places that it can take you.

MSc TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages)
- Why St Andrews?
- I loved the idea of being able to further my education in one of the top institutions in the UK. I’ve always wanted to see more of the UK, especially Scotland. And St Andrews provided me with that specific opportunity. And I have a massive love for netball, and knowing that I could give some of what I’ve learned to others, appealed to me. And of course to be on court and play with young athletes, who unknowingly (or knowingly) will teach me so much about myself and the sport.

- Why St Andrews?
- Apart from St Andrew’s global reputation and prestige, the prospect of furthering my tertiary education abroad while taking on new challenges, novel experiences, and the opportunity to meet like-minded people appealed to me greatly. Rugby has always been a constant in my life, even from a young age, and the chance to continue playing the sport I enjoy, at a competitive level, while still doing the abovementioned made it a very easy decision for me.

- Why St Andrews?
- During my undergraduate degree at the University of Aberdeen, I had the chance of playing against St Andrews women’s tennis teams many times and always got the impression that they not only had a very high quality of players and a very well organised programme, but also a great team atmosphere. Following my graduation, I knew that I not only wanted to pursue a Masters degree but also to continue combining my passion for tennis with my academics aspirations – and St Andrews seemed to be the perfect fit for that!

- I chose the University of St Andrews as an undergrad student back in 2019 as it was, in my opinion, the best place in the world to get both a great degree and pursue my golf at a high level. After four successful years it was a no brainer that I would like to continue into my fifth year here, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
