Powerlifter Andrew Wallace delivered a commanding performance at the Scottish Classics Championship, competing in the fiercely contested -105kg weight class. Despite being a junior lifter (U23), Wallace faced off against athletes of all ages in the open-format competition—and emerged victorious.

Wallace secured first place in his category with a total lift of 805kg, made up of a 290kg squat, 205kg bench press, and 310kg deadlift. This total not only extended his own junior record but also matched the Scottish open record, marking a major milestone in his lifting career.

His performance ranked him as the second-best male lifter overall across all weight classes at the event, highlighting his strength and consistency on the national stage.

With this win, Wallace has earned an automatic invitation to the British Open in December, where he will aim to continue his impressive run and challenge for national honours.
