Aldi UK Partnership with Saints Sport

ALDI UK has renewed its Sport Sponsorship deal with Saints Sport for academic year 2022-2023 remaining as lead sponsor of the University of St Andrews Rugby Club. The sponsorship deal will provide opportunities for Aldi UK to support the career progression of St Andrews students and help them onto their chosen career pathway by providing opportunities to deliver themed workshops and participate in the University’s work shadowing programme

ALDI offers a competitive Graduate Area Manager Programme, with 100 new positions available across the country each graduate season. As one of the fastest growing supermarkets, Aldi’s expansion across the UK since 1990 has proven popular with nearly 1000 stores open. Most recently Aldi was voted by students and Graduates in the top 50 employers out of Guardians UK 300 businesses, placing 9th in The Times top 100 employers and also named Employer of The Year in the Grocer Gold Awards.

ALDI UK has been the lead sponsor for the University of St Andrews Rugby Club since 2014. Saints Rugby is one of the University’s leading sports clubs with Men’s rugby one of a small number of targeted performance teams at St Andrews.

Led by highly experienced Director of Rugby David Morris, players have access to a professionally run rugby programme that offers a comprehensive programme of training and competition, complementing their world-leading academic education as part of the truly unique student experience.
