Jonny Wookey Memorial Varsity Game

The University of St Andrews Typhoons face their rival University of Edinburgh Eagles in one of the most exciting sporting events of the academic year. The atmosphere is second to none with packed stands and fast-paced Ice Hockey. Join 1,000 of your fellow students to cheer on the Typhoons as they look to reclaim the title from their Scottish rivals.
The match is played in memorial of Jonny Wookey. After Jonny tragically passed away just before his graduation in 2012, the Wookey Game was established as a tribute and a fundraiser for the Club. Tributes will also be made to Kieran McCann, a first-year Typhoon who we sadly lost in 2015.
