Tuesday evening dodgeball and other activities
Led by our friendly Student Sport Interns, Rec Dodgeball is a fun and informal way to be active, try a new activity and meet new people in a relaxed fun environment. Everyone is welcome, all activity takes place at Saints Sport and is fun, flexible and FREE! The sessions are usually split in half, the first half being dodgeball and the second half being a different sport!
When: 8.30pm – 10:30pm every Tuesday evening during the semester
Where: Sports Arena at Saints Sport
How to get involved: No need to register. Just turn up, meet new people, and have lots of fun!
Who: Open to all students, regardless of ability or passion for sport.
What to bring: Trainers and clothes you can easily and comfortably move around in, such as a t-shirt with tracksuit bottoms, shorts or leggings, and bring a water bottle.
Thursday lunch time racquet sport
Due to the success of our Exam Time Racquet Sport sessions, we have introduced a new weekly racquet sport session at very low cost to allow all students to get active during the day. Choose from badminton, table tennis and short tennis, all equipment can be borrowed from reception by depositing your student card.
When: 13:00pm – 14:00pm every Thursday lunch time (week 1 – week 10)
Where: Sports Hall at Saints Sport
How to get involved: Turn up and pay £2.00 at reception, currently no need to book.
Who: Open to all students
What to bring: Trainers and clothes you can easily and comfortably move around in, such as a t-shirt with tracksuit bottoms, shorts or leggings, and bring a water bottle.
Saturday rec basketball
Join the basketball club at their popular mixed recreational session, open to students of all abilities!
When: 17:30pm – 21:00pm every Saturday evening
Where: Arena 1-4 at Saints Sport
How to get involved: Turn up and play! Purchase your Basketball club recreational membership here.
Who: Open to all students
