Scott Lang High Performance Athlete Awards

Undergraduate and Postgraduate

The Scott Lang High Performance Athlete Awards are student-athlete focussed and designed to support those who play team sport at an elite level (depending on the sport and nationality) whilst also representing the University in BUCS competition.

Outwith team sport, individuals competing at an elite level (usually internationally depending on the sport and nationality) will also be considered.

Meet our athletes

The award supports athletes in the following areas and are assessed on a case-by-case basis, which is reflected in a tiered level of support:

  • Saints Sport Membership
  • Free Physio Access*
  • Supervised S&C
  • Saints Sport branded clothing
  • Funding for specialist equipment^
  • Support for academic flexibility”
  • Funding for entry fees, travel and accommodation to events^
  • Funding towards living costs and/or tuition fees^
