Netball Sessions
New this Summer we are offering netball sessions to both members and non-members, across all ability levels and age groups.
New block
Sessions begin on Wednesday 20 September and will last 6 weeks until Wednesday 25 October. Taking place in the arena at 19:30-20:30 we are welcoming all abilities, with experience or not! Sessions will involve drills and games to help your skills in a fun environment. These sessions will be led by Netball Director Sally Sandison and Saints Netball’s Community Outreach Officer Charmaine Baard.

Coaching Experience:
Sally joined the University from Shetland where she was coaching the U15 District Squad. She graduated in BA (hons) International Relations from the University of St Andrews, where she played with the Women’s 1st Team. Having studied at the University for 4 years, this was huge influence in attracting Sally back to St Andrews.
Whilst at the University Sally was able to achieve her Level 1 and Level 2 teaching qualifications through the netball club. In the Summer of 2018 she went to South Africa with Saints Sport’s International Volunteering programme Saints Volunteer, Stellenbosch. This experience allowed Sally to improve her netball coaching as well as develop different coaching styles which she has used since returning to Shetland.
