SUMMARY:2026 Saints Costal Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Set to be one of the largest coastal rowing events in the UK this season\, the Saints Coastal Regatta returns to East Sands with thrilling side-by-side racing across all boat types. Competitors will have the opportunity to take part in both Beach Sprints and Coastal Endurance formats.\n\nLast year’s event drew 120 entries\, including 24 fiercely contested crews in the standout Mixed Double Beach Sprint category. It also served as the first selection event for the GB Rowing Team\, highlighting its growing importance on the national stage.\n\n\n\nWhether you’re an experienced coastal rower or new to the sport\, this regatta offers a welcoming and competitive environment for all.\n\nThe University of St Andrews\, recognised by British Rowing as a GB Beach Sprint Performance Development Academy and GB Olympic Beach Sprint Training Venue\, continues to lead the way in developing coastal rowing in Scotland.\n\nJoin us at East Sands for a weekend of high-energy racing and community spirit as we build towards the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
