The University of St Andrews Rifle Club have continued their winning streak this season off the back of last years incredible success.

The club have had an incredibly successful season so far winning all 4 of the Scottish Student Sport GP series so far. In the first competition our teams travelled to Aberdeen where there were a number of 1st place winners from Team of 9, 2, 4, ladies triad and Nadim Searight in individual. As well as this Team of 2 and 4 came second and team of 2 and Eden Roy in Individual coming third. We’ve worked and trained hard as a team which is shown in this but also have had some amazing individual performances. In the second GP we travelled to Edinburgh where again Saints Rifle were unstoppable with number 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes for the team.

Our shooters perform at the highest level, with Eden Roy being a particular standout coming first individually in both the Edinburgh and Glasgow GPs. Our captain Nadim recently shot a perfect score in Edinburgh coming first in his class and we also had exceptional performances from our novices. Special mention has to go to Kirsty for coming 2nd in her class in her first competition.
We’re so proud of all our Novices who came to compete and they should all be really proud of their results. Their growth from the start of the year to now is both exceptional and inspirational and we can’t wait to see their future contributions to the team.
